Richard Branson is one of my entrepreneurial heroes. I have always been inspired by his ability to dream big. He is not afraid to challenge the status quo and motivate people to think outside the box. But this one innovation marked the beginning of the end and the destruction of an industry.

I have always considered myself athletic. But this week I faced a simple workout that seemed to challenge that assumption. I went out for a relatively short three mile run and my legs felt like bricks and my lungs couldn't take in enough oxygen. You would never guess what went terribly wrong.
